It is quite a line-up of all the best area high school bands-come on out to Main Beach (300 Lakeshore Drive, Crystal Lake) and be a part of the crowd cheering them on. The following bands are scheduled to compete in the Crystal Lake Park District Battle of the Bands on Friday, June 7 from 3-9 pm at the Crystal Lake Main Beach Band : Jam Nipple Sandwich, Dead Authority, Reject My Reality, Cyinico, John Wilkes, Civic Burden. Our sponsors have gone out of their way to make this the best battle ever, with giveaways for spectators and great prizes for the bands. Thank you to our 2013 Battle of the Bands Sponsors who are helping to make this an event to remember: Buffalo Wild Wings, Northwest Herald, Player's Bench, Robin Pendergrast Photography, Jamba Juice, Chick-fil-A and Pro-Tuff Decals. Prizes for first, second and third place will be awarded, and the 1st Place winner of this qualifier event will be eligible to compete in the Regional Battle of the Bands (location and time To Be Determined). The winner of the Regional competition will then continue on to the State Final Battle of the Bands, to be held at the Illinois State Fair in August 2013. Admission for spectators is $5.
