It's Time to Think about Summer Fun on the Water Crystal Lake Park District Offers America's Boating Course

Boating safety course offered by Crystal Lake Park District is for skippers of all kinds of watercraft.

The Crystal Lake Park District is urging boaters to plan ahead for a fun and safe boating season by enrolling in the upcoming America’s Boating Course. America’s Boating Course is for all boaters including skippers of a family cruiser, sailing enthusiasts, personal watercraft (PWC) operators, hunters or fishermen operating an outboard utility boat, and canoe and kayak paddlers. The course also includes a CD containing Maptech’s Chart Navigator computer program, allowing students to learn about this exciting new electronic technology. The last 4 weeks will focus on charting.

Dates/Time: Tuesday, March 12-April 30, 6:30-9 pm

Location: Veteran Acres Warming House, Route 176 and Second St, Crystal Lake
