The Crystal Lake Park District has the perfect gift giving option for your favorite golfer-a gift certificate for the Chili Open Golf Classic

For the golfer who has everything! 

Give the gift of gift certificate to cover the cost of a foursome golf team for the 42nd Annual Doc Haznow Chili Open Golf Classic.  The event will take place on the frozen surface of Crystal Lake on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013. 

Crystal Lake Main Beach is located at 300 Lake Shore Drive in Crystal Lake. In the event of thin ice or open water, will be postponed until Feb. 2, or Feb. 16.

Golfers will play a nine-hole, par 32 courses on frozen Crystal Lake. You don't need golfing experience to participate, just bring three friends, a few short irons, a putter and come have fun on the lake.

Foursome Fee includes Golf, Chili, Prizes

All foursomes will receive our great giveaway, one bowl of chili and the chance to win several prizes. Prizes will include various golf bags, golf clubs, golf apparel, and other prizes.

Decorate a sled and enter it in the Chili Open "Best Sled" contest for your chance to win even more great golf prizes. 

Painted golf balls, prizes and side games are provided to all golfers. Tee-offs begin at 8 a.m. and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Cost is $115 per team (foursome).

The event is sponsored by Jersey Mikes, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin Donuts and Black Diamond Mechanical.
