More than 50 local community leaders and business owners filled the on Thursday evening, to mix, mingle and meet the 2012 contestants for Miss Cary and Miss Fox River Grove.
There are 15 women will be competing for the crown in the 2012 Miss Cary and Miss Fox River Grove Business Scholarship Pageant at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 19 at .
The Scholarship Pageant is sponsored by True Value Manufacturing and Wickstrom Auto Group and hosted by the .
The process leading up to the Miss Cary/FRG Pageant is designed to provide the contestants with valuable communication and speaking skills and knowledge about local business.
Participants are formally introduced to the business community and area leaders, get involved in community service, and are trained in speaking and presentation skills.
The evening of the Pageant the contestants participate in an evening gown competition, an interview session and give a live presentation on their business sponsor. Miss Cary and Miss Fox River Grove as well as runners up receive scholarship money.
