Operation Support Our Troops America November Christmas Drive

Operation Support Our Troops – America has been a grassroots effort that’s blossomed into one of the largest volunteer based military support organizations in the country. The organization's mission is exist to provide comfort and care at home and away to active duty military, families and veterans.

OSOTA's goal is to support the morale and wellbeing of American forces by providing comfort, resources and education to them and their families both while they are deployed in harm’s way and after their return. That's especially needed during the holiday season. Locally, organizers will conduct two donation drop-off drives, Saturday November 12th and 19th, from 9am to 3pm at the JA Freight facility, 7900 Pyott Road in Crystal Lake.

Items most requested by troops serving in overseas combat zones are; foot powder, antacids, nasal spray, eye drops, Vitamins (100 ct or less), anti-itch or antibiotic creams, pain relievers (100 ct. or less), q-tips (70 ct. or less), socks, beef jerky, slim jims, crackers, tuna, Microwave popcorn, canned nuts (20 oz. or less).
