Now in its 29th year, the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce’s Home & Business EXPO brings another exciting and jam-packed weekend to Crystal Lake South High School. Area businesses and organizations will be on the show floor exhibiting their goods and services. With so many great choices right in our own community, the EXPO brings them to you in one convenient location for one must-see event. Admission and parking are free! EXPO consistently draws over 140 exhibitors and 5,000 attendees from Crystal Lake and the surrounding area. It is a great event for businesses, individuals, and families alike.
As always, EXPO features many opportunities to win! In addition to exhibitor prizes and promotional giveaways, this year’s raffle includes a Crystal Lake entertainment package valued at over $500, a Chicago Bears Johnny Knox autographed jersey and football, four tickets to a Chicago Cubs baseball game donated by the Northwest Herald, a Kindle from In Sync Systems, and a special raffle for a boy’s and a girl’s bike donated by Dr. Kathleen Schroeder, DDS and Dr. Gregory Kubik, DDS , MS, FACD. Plus, every 100th attendee receives a door prize donated by exhibitors in the show. Free face painting by Chamber member, Head 2 Toe Body Art, is always a family favorite.
Back by popular demand is Café EXPO. Georgio's Chicago Pizzeria & Pub will be selling individual pizzas and Galloway’s Chicago Subs will have a variety of sandwich choices for purchase. Bring the family and enjoy some great food after viewing all the Exhibitor booths.
EXPO weekend also includes The Miss Crystal Lake Scholarship Pageant and The Little Miss Crystal Lake Contest co-sponsored by the Crystal Lake Chamber and the Crystal Lake Park District. The pageant event will take place March 26, 5:30 p.m. in the Crystal Lake South High School auditorium. Tickets for the event may be purchased at the door for $5.
