Care4 Breast Cancer Race/Walk

McHenry County – Sunday, October 21, 2012 will be the 12th Annual Care4 Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk at Woodstock North High School.  This annual event raises money for the Family Health Partnership Clinic’s Breast Cancer Fund.  The fund provides early detection, screening and educational services to women and men in McHenry County who have no health insurance.  Last year, this event raised $184,000!  This year, over 2,200 participants are expected and pre-registration is strongly encouraged!

For the seventh year, Sage Products Inc. is the presenting sponsor.  The day of the run, same day registration begins at 7:15 a.m. with a race start time of 8:30 a.m.  Chip timing is provided.  Online registration ($25) is easy and secure at www.hpclinic.org – click on the pink ribbon.  Participants can do late-registration ($30) at the Running Depot in downtown Crystal Lake on Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00p.m.
