Delicate butter cookies, gingerbread men and decorated sugar cookies are being created in kitchens across the county in preparation for the 19th Annual Cookie Walk in historic and charming Ridgefield.
Ridgefield Crystal Lake Presbyterian Church, 8505 Church Street, Crystal Lake hosts the Cookie Walk on Saturday, Dec. 11, from 9 am until they all disappear.

Members bake favorite cookies, breads and candies using family recipes from all over the world. You select the treats you want, for only $8 per pound.
The Cookie Walk is a good way to help make a nicer Christmas for Fairhaven School in Egypt, Crystal Lake Food Pantry, P.A.D.S., RCLPC fund, Turning Point, Home of the Sparrow, Faith in Action, Hospice & Pallative Care of Northern Illinois and Girls on the Run.
