"$100 Grand" Prix

The Alexander Leigh Center for Autism (ALCA) is a 501c3 charity, located in Lake in the Hills.  It is a Developmental Learning Center and Illinois State Board of Education approved Therapeutic Day School for children with autistic spectrum disorders between the ages of 2 and 12.  It is our mission to provide an environment where our students can learn and thrive.  We focus on sensory regulation, engagement, communication, academics, social skills, reduction of maladaptive behaviors, community integration, life skills and parent coaching.  Each student has an individualized 1:1 program designed to meet their unique needs, using proven methodologies and teaching strategies to gain functional independence.  ALCA continues to grow and develop with the rising population of autism.  In order to continue to provide quality services to our students and their families, we need sponsorship.

We are holding our 5th annual fundraiser on March 12, 2011, at the Holiday Inn in Crystal Lake. The theme of this year’s event is ‘The “$100 Grand” Prix!  The event will be attended by over 350 guests and include dinner, live and silent auctions and raffles. The funds raised will be used to develop curriculum, to expand programming and gain additional square footage.
