First Gallery Exhibit of 2014! First Friday Art Show 2/7/14

The public is welcome to the first gallery exhibit of
2014 at Lakeside Legacy Foundation on Friday, February 7th from 5pm-8pm in
Crystal Lake, IL. Taking place the first Friday of every month, the foundation
hosts an art show within the Sage and Dole Galleries at Lakeside Legacy Arts Park
and the Historic Dole Mansion. The February 7th event features two exhibits.
The Sage Gallery features "8 Years Beyond the Studio" a retrospective
Solo Exhibit by Algonquin resident Jeanine Hill-Soldner. Hill-Soldner is a
long-time resident partner artist with a beautiful studio at Lakeside, and she is
well known for her artwork with veterans. The Chicago Women's Caucus for Art is
displaying works from eight artists titled "Fringes" in the Dole
Gallery. This exhibit brings talented artists from city and the Chicagoland
area to Crystal Lake.





This family friendly event is free of charge, and the
foundation suggests a charitable donation of $5 to attend. The event includes
complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. Guests are encouraged to view the
artwork, mingle with the artists, and explore the Dole Mansion and Arts Park.
Guests are encouraged to evening of art and culture. Lakeside Legacy Foundation
is located at 401 Country Club Road in Crystal Lake, IL. It is as  501(c)3 charitable organization, and its
mission is to protect and preserve the Historic Dole Mansion for generations to
come, and its vision is to be an innovative community arts center. In addition
to the two expansive galleries, Lakeside is home to a culinary studio, studio
space for artists and musicians, and the state-of-the-art performance venue
known as 'the Listening Room'. For more information on First Friday art shows,
