It builds strength, balance, flexibility and vitality and is an effective tool in converting stress energy into positive productive energy. It has also been known to relieve or prevent arthritis, high blood pressure, back, respiratory and digestive problems, among other physical disorders. The paramount element is that T'ai Chi develops mental alertness and peace of mind.
