Read to Succeed with the Chicago Wolves

Chicago Wolves defenseman Brad Hunt will appear at Cary Area Public Library as part of the 18th season of the "Read to Succeed" program, presented by Butternut Bread and J.U.L.I.E., Inc.

The “Read to Succeed” program teaches the importance of recreational reading and encourages children to use the many resources that libraries have to offer. Hunt will speak about the benefits of reading outside the classroom and discuss how it plays an important part in his life as a professional athlete.

Children can win prizes --- including Wolves hats, pennants, and tickets --- to upcoming games for setting and achieving reading goals. One lucky child will get to try on a complete set of hockey equipment.

Throughout the season, more than 17,000 children will participate in the program as Wolves players will make appearances at more than 20 select libraries throughout the Chicago area.
