KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COMMUNITY BLOOD DRIVE

The Knights of Columbus - Council 3880 are holding a Community Blood Drive open to all who are eligible to donate.

The Father McCormick Council at St. Thomas the Apostle Church is partnered with Heartland Blood Centers.  Heartland relies solely on volunteer blood donors to meet the needs of patients in the 35 area hospitals that we supply.  Annually, Heartland donors must collectively give 160,000 units of blood to meet the supply demands of these hospitals. 

To be a blood donor, individuals must be at least 17 years old or 16 with written parental permission; weigh at least 110 pounds; be symptom free of cold, flu and allergies; and be in general good health.
