Grandparent/Grandchild Day Out (Ages 4 and up)
Grandparents grab your grandchildren and join us for an exciting
adventure! We will start the day with
a nature walk/Geocacheting led by our knowledgeable and fun nature center
staff at Veteran’s Acres. This is a
new activity that involves using GPS technology to find “Treasures” around
the park. It is a great way to spend a
morning outdoors! We will then have an
outdoor cooking demonstration with a tasty sample for you. Following our morning in the park, you will
receive passes for you and your grandchild to enjoy the rest of the day at
Main Beach including a hotdog, chips and a drink for each participant. This is a great way to spend quality time with your grandchild! Parents are welcome too!
Program Fee : $20 Per couple/$10 each additional person
