Crystal Lake Community Band Winter POPS concert

The 75 pc. Crystal Lake Community Band, directed by Marty Magnini, will present the Winter POPS concert on Sunday, December 8 at 4:00 at the Holiday Inn in Crystal Lake.  The band will be playing a variety of music, including Blow, Gabriel Blow, Tchaikovski's Finale from Symphony #4,  The Night Before Christmas, Christmas Festival, Fantasia for Christmas and a Christmas Sing-a-Long. A  highlight of  the program will be pianist Michael Langlois, a 2004 graduate of Cary-Grove High School, who is now enrolled in the doctoral program at the University of Maryland in collaborative piano who will be playing Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, with band accompaniment.  Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, students and the military and $7 for groups of 10 or more.  They may be purchased by calling 815-679 BAND(2263), by going online to www.clcb.org or at the door.
