AUGUST
23-25 HONOR FLIGHT TRIP HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED
TO SEPTEMBER 13-15, 2013

At
this time, we still plan to host an event on Saturday, August 24,
2013 at Lake Julian, on Route 14, in Cary, and will host a combined
Cary Flood Relief and Honor Flight event.

You
can help your flood victim neighbors and your community by supporting
this event.

You
can also help us continue our very important mission of honoring our
veterans by helping us with our August 24th
event, and by bringing every friend, relative, and neighbor to join
us! Please join us in honoring and celebrating those who have given
everything of themselves, so that this great country could continue
to enjoy our freedoms and maintain our status as the strongest nation
in the world!

Due
to circumstances beyond our control, we were notified Monday, August
5, 2013, by Honor Flight’s National Headquarters that our trip,
scheduled for August 23-25, 2013, was canceled. This cancellation
was made due to the fact that many streets will be closed, with no
bus service, as the Capitol celebrates another event.

At
this time, our Honor Flight trip has been re-scheduled for the
weekend of September 13 through 15, 2013, with the location and time
for our Veteran’s return party to be determined in the coming days.

This
unfortunate circumstance has placed a great burden on our
organization to re-schedule all events that had been planned for
that weekend, honoring our Veterans. However, we are up to the
task.
