Long Grove will host its annual celebration of all things chocolate this weekend, with a three-day Chocolate Fest.
Chocolate Fest runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 3-5 in the village’s downtown, on Robert Parker Coffin Road, just west of Route 83.
The festival will include live entertainment, including a show by the Kildeer School choir, as well as children’s rides and the opportunity to snack on chocolate treats throughout the streets.
A number of Long Grove merchants will also tap into the chocolate theme with a variety of special offers. They will include a chocolate salad samples at The Olive Tap, Hershey scented candles at Long Grove Soap & Candle Co. and assorted chocolate food and drinks at The Village Tavern, where menu items will range from chocolate martinis to chocolate BBQ bacon burgers.
Admission to Chocolate Fest is $5, but free to visitors under 12. Fee-paying fest-goers will receive a voucher for $5 off a future visit to a Long Grove store.
