Get Smart with Library Card and Local Discounts Too

Local restaurants offer discounts to customers who show their library card.

The encourages residents to sign up for a library card in September, which is Library Sign-Up Month.

A library card gives you access to books, DVDs, audio books, 24/7 electronic resources CD’s, videos games, magazines, foreign language materials, free WiFi and Internet access and programs for all ages.

Residents who sign up for a new card, or renewed car, can enter a drawing for a gift certificate to any of the participating restaurants.
