Gallery: Algonquin Township Hosts Touch-A-Truck

Worth the wait, Algonquin Township hosts a Touch a Truck for children Saturday after a storm passes through Cary.

Many people waited in their cars for the rain to stop at the Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday.

Once the sun came out, children were climbing in and out of municipal vehicles, including cars, tow trucks, garbage trucks, SWAT trucks and excavators.

The Sinful Saints of Crystal Lake provided entertainment, playing dixieland jazz for the crowd.
