Freight Train Hits Semi Truck
A freight train hit a semi truck Thursday evening in Barrington.
A freight train struck a semi truck at the Route 14 crossing in Barrington, the Northwest Herald is reporting.
As a result of the crash, Metra trains using the Union Pacific Northwest tracks have been stopped. Route 14 has been closed in both directions between Lake Cook Road and Route 59, the Herald reports.
