Downed Wire Causes Power Outage Sunday

Electricity was out for some ComEd customers in Algonquin Township and Cary on Sunday, according to the Northwest Herald.

A downed wire led to almost 2,100 ComEd customers in Algonquin Township, Cary, Fox River Grove and Barrington to lose power Sunday morning, according to the Northwest Herald. 

The power outage lasted for about 45 minutes and ComEd is investigating the cause of the outage, ComEd told the Northwest Herald.
