ComEd: 75 Percent With Power by Noon Wednesday

All customers are estimated to have their power restored by Saturday.

ComEd continues to work feverishly to restore power to homes and business left in the dark after the July 11 storms. 

As of 6:30 p.m. July 12, the company has restored power to 599,000 customers. 279,000 remain without electricity. 

Most of those customers are in the north region, which includes Barrington, where 161,000 are still without power.

ComEd estimates that 75 percent of customers will have power back by noon on Wednesday, July 13. 90 percent will be restored by noon on Thursday, and 99 percent will have electricity by midday Friday.
