Cary Natives Present in Symposium at Lake Forest College

Students tackle the issue of sustainability.

The 15th Annual Steven Galovich Memorial Student Symposium is an event celebrates students' academic achievements and creative talents by showcasing research and scholarship from every academic discipline in a variety of venues and forums. Presentations are drawn from the College's freshman honors programs, senior thesis research, independent study, internships, and other exceptional individual and team-based student research.

Erika Rodriguez `12 of Cary, presented their research project titled Haere Mai Aoteroa Foresters! (Welcome to New Zealand Foresters!) and Agricultural Processes and Perspectives at Lake Forest College, Within the Context of the Societal Movement towards Sustainable Food. Rodriguez is a graduate of Dundee Crown High School in Carpentersville.

Kristina Rodriguez `12 of Cary, presented their research project titled Enhancing Sustainability at Lake Forest College and Enhancing Sustainability at Lake Forest College. Rodriguez is a graduate of Dundee Crown High School in Carpentersville, IL.
