MY QUICK RUNDOWN: Taqueria Las Cumbres - Amazing little hidden gem in DTCL. Best Mexican in the area. Conscious Cup Coffee Roasters - very good coffee at a very high price. Benedict's La Strata - less than stellar service, I prefer Olympic, Andys or ATC for breakfast. Portillo's Hot Dogs - its a chain, its always packed and its always GREAT. Yum. Pinemoor Pizza - BEST thin crust in the area. Chez Pierre's Crêperie - never been (sorry) Georgio's Chicago Pizzeria & Pub - the BEST deepdish. Just about everything they make is great (spin-art dip is amazing). Thats Amore Pizza - very good thin crust, awful location. Worth it if you can get in that parking lot! Tommy's Red Hots - overhyped. Mr. A's has real Vienna and is better. Galloway's Chicago Subs - overpriced. There is a better version of just about everything they serve somewhere else in the area.
