Mega Trampoline Has Job Openings

Mega Trampoline in Crystal Lake will hold "job fair" on May 29, 30 and June 1. New business is seeking 50 employees.

Crystal Lake is one step closer to getting its first indoor trampoline park. Construction workers are transforming a 35,000-square-foot retail space at 5593 Route 14 into Mega Trampoline Fun Zone. The business is located near Party City and Big Lots (by the former Walmart building). “We commenced building some months ago and it is expanding rapidly,” said Manager Mandeep Sidhu. Mega Trampoline will include 12,000 square feet of interconnected trampolines, dodge ball court, a foam pit, free-jump area, state-of-the-art laser tag facility, paintball shooting range, inflatables, arcade, party rooms and Internet café. Mega Trampoline is the most unique facility in Chicagoland, Sidhu said. The trampoline park is expected to open early June. “We believe this is going to be a true destination celebration spot in Chicagoland for kids of all ages,” said Sidhu. The park is looking to fill 50 positions: greeters, cashiers, safety specialists and management. “We’d like to invite anybody who's looking for a job opportunity to come in for a job fair,” said Sidhu. The job fairs are taking place May 29 and 30, and, so far, the interest is high, Sidhu said. The new business has already received more than 20 applications. An additional hiring event is set from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday June 1, at Mega Trampoline.
