Holistic Healthcare Facility Opens in Algonquin

Dr. Nina Pregont has announced the opening of her private practice, Natural Expressions Naprapathy and Wellness LLC, a holistic healthcare facility, in Algonquin.

The new facility is located at 270 Stonegate Road in Algonquin.

Pregont has worked as a small animal clinical nutritionist for over 20 years. She previously managed a local dental practice and currently owns a small animal nutritional consulting business. She is also the staff nutritionist at TOPS Veterinary Rehabilitation in Grayslake, according to a news release. 

With her experience in nutrition and health, Pregont continued her education to treat individuals with a holistic approach at the National College of Naprapathic Medicine in Chicago. She graduated in 2013 at the top of her class with a perfect grade point average, the release stated.

“This is a vision I have had for many years," Pregont said. "My mission is to help people in the community not only to get out of pain, but by offering each person the most uniquely individualized and professional care available to promote their well being and maintain the highest quality of life.”

Pregont specializes in treating back, neck, spinal, knee, hip, shoulder and all joint pains and pain related to arthritis, injuries, connective tissue disorders and many other related pains and neuro-muscular disorders through various manipulative therapies including a class IV laser for pain and inflammation and natural dietary supplements, the release states. 

Throughout the month of December, anyone who brings in a food item donation will receive $15 off his/ her first appointment at Natural Expressions through Dec. 31. All donations will be made to the local Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Food Pantry, the release said.
