Halloween Trick-or-Treat Walks in Downtown Cary, Fox River Grove on Saturday

Get a jump on Halloween, and take your little ones trick-or-treating in downtown Cary and Fox River Grove.

The Cary Grove Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat Walks for Cary and Fox River Grove.

This year's walks are set for downtown Cary from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 27, and from 1- 2 p.m. in Fox River Grove, according to the Cary Grove Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Cary trick-or-treat parade - led by Miss Cary Katey Kelleher - will begin on Jandus Road at the Beau Nail and Spa, continue down by The Buddha Bean, travel on Main Street to Orchard Prime Meats and cross at traffic light on High and Main streets. From there, the line of trick-or-treaters will continue by Harris Bank and end at The Tracks, the chamber reports.

(Parents, do not park on West Main after 10:30 a.m. Vehicles will not be allowed to move between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The road will be closed for the event. Free parking is available in the Metra parking lots).

The Fox River Grove trick-or-treat route - led by Miss Fox River Grove Keely Robinsonwill start at Leader ACE Hardware and continue through the Stone Hill Shopping Center at Dominick’s, cross over to Foxmoor Crossing Shopping Center and end at Bella Vista Montessori School, where children’s activities will be provided until 3:00 p.m.

Cary Grove Area Chamber members can reserve a spot on the parade route to hand out treats. More information - for busineses and residents - is available from the Cary Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, or by calling 847-639-2800.
