Fuddruckers in Algonquin Opens
So long, Cheeseburger in Paradise, there's a new burger joint in town.
Paradise may be lost, but hamburgers still prevail at the Algonquin Commons.
Fuddruckers opened today, Friday, Dec. 13, at 1608 S. Randall Rd., in the Algonquin Commons, replacing the former Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant.
Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant, named after Jimmy Buffet's "Cheeseburger in Paradise" song, departed on Sunday, Oct. 27.
The Fuddruckers chain has been in business since 1980, and aims to create the "world's greatest hamburgers" complete with homemade buns (baked at each restaurant, according to the company website).
