Awareness-raising continues through Oct. 31, 2012.

People can bring bra donations to Exceed’s showroom, 5186 Route 14, in Crystal Lake, and La Bellissima, 10 N. Williams St. in downtown Crystal Lake. Donors will be given a special discount on purchases at Exceed Flooring, as well as a chance to win a new lingerie set from La Bellissima.

All bra donations will be laundered and sent to women’s social service agencies in McHenry County. A percentage of Exceed Flooring’s sales from the month of October will also be donated to Centegra Gavers Breast Center.

“We are proud to support breast cancer awareness again this year,” said owner Haig Haleblian. “Last year, over 500 bras were collected and $1,000 donated, and we look forward to more this year. In store, we have specials for our shoppers and information about breast health from the Centegra team.”
