Coming Soon to the Algonquin Commons

A discount book store, children's clothing store, a plus-size fashion store and a Mediterranean grill will open soon at Algonquin Commons.

 

A handful of stores and restaurants, including a cafe specializing in Mediterranean food and a discount book store, will soon be opening at the Algonquin Commons. 

Aladdin's Mediterranean Grill

Aladdin's Mediterranean Grill will open on Jan. 18 at 1644 S. Randall Road and will feature "authentic Mediterranean foods that are made using spices imported from the region," according to the Algonquin Commons website. 

Aladdin's Mediterranean Grill is located in the same cluster of stores and restaurants as Bonefish Grill and Cheeseburger in Paradise. 

Crazy 8

Expected to open today, Jan. 16, is Crazy 8—a children's clothing store that boasts affordable prices for sizes newborn to 14, according to the Algonquin Commons website.

Crazy 8 is the newest brand addition to Gymboree Corp. with the first Crazy 8 store opening in August 2007. Crazy 8 will be located next to Chico's near Victoria's Secret at 1958 S. Randall Road. 

Half Price Books

A popular discount book store, Half Price Books, will soon open at 1612 S. Randall Road in Algonquin.

With dozens of stores across the U.S. and seven locations in Illinois, Half Price Books sells new and used books, audio books and more. Half Price Books will be located next to the recently opened Family Christian Stores.

Torrid

In mid-March, Torrid — a store featuring plus-size women's fashion — is slated to open at 1956 S. Randall Road. Torrid sells jeans, t-shirts, dresses, shoes and accessories. 

Torrid will be located between the newly opened Crazy 8 and Williams-Sonoma. 

GNC

A store specializing in vitamins, supplements and sports nutrition products has opened at the Commons and is located next to Gourmet Kernel at 1722 S. Randall Road. 

GNC is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
