Caribou Coffee Closing in Crystal Lake

Route 14 coffee shop will close at noon on Sunday, April 14.

After 10 years of serving up hot coffee and other brews, Caribou Coffee at 5899 Route 14 in Crystal Lake is closing its doors, the Northwest Herald reports.

A store employee told the NWH the Minnesota-based company was closing underperforming stores. Other closures include the Caribou Coffee at 2168 Randall Rd. in Carpentersville, and the Barrington shop at 105 Main St., the NWH story stated.

Crystal Lake's Caribou will officially close at noon Sunday, the story stated.
