A New Miss Cary, Fox River Grove To be Crowned

Contestants crowed for the title win $1,000 scholarships from the Chamber.

 The is pleased to announce that 15 dynamic young women will be competing for the crown in the 2012 Miss Cary and Miss Fox River Grove Business Scholarship Pageant on Saturday, May 19 at 7:00 p.m.at Cary-Grove High School.

The Scholarship Pageant is sponsored by True Value Manufacturing and Wickstrom Auto Group. 

The process leading up to the Miss Cary/FRG Pageant is designed to provide the contestants with valuable communication and speaking skills and knowledge about local business.

Participants are formally introduced to the business community and area leaders, get involved in community service, and are trained in speaking and presentation skills.

The evening of the Pageant the contestants participate in an evening gown competition, an interview session and give a live presentation on their business sponsor. Miss Cary and Miss Fox River Grove as well as runners up receive scholarship money.

Contestants competing in the pageant this year for the title of Miss Cary are Devin Carlson sponsored by SERVPRO of Southern McHenry County, Margaret Gray sponsored by Cary-Grove Foot & Ankle Center and Madeline Gronset sponsored by Cary Travel Express.

Arianna Harris sponsored by Dunkin’Donuts, Katey Kelleher sponsored by Cary Grove Performing Arts Centre, Alexis Laverdiere sponsored by Frisch & Barrett Insurance Agency and Lauren Lowe sponsored by Malooley Sport & Family Chiropractic. 

Rachael Smith sponsored by Modern Wave Salon & Spa, Crystal Sogar sponsored by H & R Block and Shannon Tryon sponsored by Wickstrom Auto Group.

Contestants running for the Miss Fox River Grove title are Holly Hagedorn sponsored by Merle Norman Cosmetics, Abbey Nick sponsored by Brunch Café, Maddy Zuelke sponsored by Stone Hill Shopping Center and Keeley Robinson sponsored by Sage Products, Inc.

The Pageant Committee consists of , Sandra Nies of BMO Harris Cary, Ellen McAlpine of Evnoy Mortgage Corp.
