Recycle Electronics at Township Office

A recycling alternative that residents can utilize is the Algonquin Township's Recycling Facility.

On the last Saturday of every month from March through October, beginning March 31, 2012 this year, from 8 a.m. to Noon, the Township Specialized Recycling Program can accept the following items:

  • Aerosol Paint
  • Anti-freeze
  • Batteries - Automobile, Marine & Motorcycle
  • Electronics
  • Ferrous and non-ferrous metals
  • Latex & Oil-Based Paint, Stain & Varnish (please note - there is a limit of 10 containers and 2 5-gallon buckets of these materials.  Any additional quantities will be accepted for a fee of $2.00 per container.)
  • Waste Motor Oil & Cooking Oil - must be free of chlorinated solvents and not combined with anything else.

The Village of Cary appreciates Algonquin Township's efforts to provide recycling opportunities to residents.
