Williams Street Series Has Crowd Laughing

Williams Street Get Lit Series features "SantaLand Diaries" by David Sedaris.

The Williams Street introduces Get Lit(erary) Series, an ongoing reading series with a presentation of "SantaLand Diaries." They had the crowd laughing two nights, December 16 & 17 at the Raue Center in Crystal Lake. Admission was free and the bar was open with drinks available for purchase.

"Santaland Diaries" was the story that launched David Sedaris' career. This was a reading performance of Sedaris' funny encounters working as an elf in Macy's Santaland.

Producing Director, T. Paul Lowry, of the Raue Center for The Arts' in-house production company, Williams Street Repertory was very proud of his group, saying, "they were ready in 2 rehearsals." The performers for this series were: Alicia Regan, Ivan Ewert, Branden Dunlap and Lauryn Lugo.
