William Beckett Performs at 'Lucy's Music Sessions' Tonight at Raue Center

Singer William Beckett performs at the Raue Center for the Arts at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15.

The Raue Center for the Arts in Crystal Lake has announced the next artist performing in the revamped, small-stage emerging music program, "Lucy’s Music: Sessions Series" is singer William Beckett.

The Chicago-native of the now defunct band, "The Academy Is," performs at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at the Raue, 26 N. Williams St., Crystal Lake.

Local openers include Conductors and Gregory Robert. 

Beckett will perform in the small, black box stage set-up that allows 150 fans a truly intimate experience, according to the Raue Center. 

Beckett spent the summer on the Vans Warped Tour and released his first full-length solo album, Genuine and Counterfeit, on Aug. 20, 2013.

Signed to Equal Vision Records, Beckett now shares a label with distinguished artists Say Anything and Saves The Day.

This show is for guests ages 18 and up. Tickets are $20 in advance, or $25 day of.
