The first rehearsal will be Aug. 28.

The fall concert, "Festival of the Voice," will be presented on Nov. 11 at the Raue Center for the Arts, 26 N. Williams St., Crystal Lake. Voices in Harmony will be joined by ensembles from all parts of McHenry County. This festival will display the number and age diversity of people participating in choral singing, Kretchmer said in the release.

The "Sing-Along Messiah" will be presented on Dec. 9, also at the Raue Center. Community and choir members join their voices in harmony with Handel’s great masterwork. The show will be presented along with a 25-piece orchestra.

In spring, Voices in Harmony presents "Viva La Opera" on April 14 with an orchestra.

Membership cost for the entire season is $85.00. For membership information please contact Monica Szalaj at 815-455-4879 or e-mail mszalaj at me.com.
