Get a Taste of Fall at the Johnny Appleseed Festival Today!

Pony rides, pumpkin bowling, Johnny Appleseed and more highlight popular autumn festival in downtown Crystal Lake.

Make plans to attend Downtown Crystal Lake’s most popular event, The Johnny Appleseed Festival on Saturday, September 28.

The festival runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"We expect over 5,000 people throughout the day," said Diana Kenney, executive director of Downtown Crystal Lake.

 "Kids love the pumpkin bowling, pony rides, and petting zoo. Adults and kids really get excited to watch the Great Ball Race."

The Radio Disney Road Crew and White Saddle Band will be providing the music at the Gazebo in Depot Park.

Kids of all ages LOVE the Johnny Appleseed Festival!

Don’t forget the Great Ball Race at 3 p.m. when 1,000s of colored balls roll down Brink Street hill.  (Brink Street will be closed from Williams to Main Street). Purchase raffle tickets and come to cheer your ball(s) on to win!  Grand prize is $1,000.
