First Friday at the Dole Celebrates 'Art in Action: Passport to Creativity'

Free, family-friendly event is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 1.

It's First Friday at the Dole again- the time when the Dole Mansion and Lakeside Legacy Arts Park celebrate the visual and performing arts on the first Friday of the month.

This month's First Friday features "Art in Action: Passport to Creativity."

Passport to Creativity includes traditional visual artwork, live music, live art demonstrations, photo booths, crafts, a culinary demonstration, free appetizers, artist studio tours, and a cash bar.

The March 1st First Friday showcases the talents of the resident partner artists and musicians who rent studio space at Lakeside Legacy Arts Park. Not only will their work and music be on display, but many will be performing live demonstrations.

Guests to First Friday will be given a creative passport to fill with stickers as they explore all the Dole has to offer. Step inside and experience the Arts Coming Alive, while learning about local talent and about classes and lessons that happen at the Dole.

Highlights include free live performances in The Listening Room, and guests can record a song. There will also be kids' crafts and a photo booth.
