Thiel College Choir to Perform Locally

The 36 voice Thiel Choir from Thiel College in Greenville,
Pennsylvania, will present a concert at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, May 8, 2012 at Bethany Lutheran Church, 76 W. Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake, IL. 

The performance is part of the Thiel Choir’s 2012 spring
choir tour.  The Thiel Choir performs annually for audiences predominantly in the eastern United States and tours internationally every 4 years.  The ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Michael Bray, reflects the diverse
intersts and disciplines of the Thiel College student body.

Thiel College, a four-year, coeducational, liberal arts
college located near the Pennsylvania-Ohio border approximately equidistant from Erie, Pittsburgh and Cleveland, enrolls 1100 students.  The choir will perform a variety of sacred works which celebrate hope and love, and works of the Native American culture and earth consciousness. 

There will be no admission charge, however, a freewill offering will be taken.  For more information
