Quilt of Valor Presentation at Countryside Flower Shop, Nursery & Garden Center
Countryside is hosting their 13th Annual Quilt
Show this Saturday and Sunday, September 22 and 23.
On Sunday, September 23 at 1pm Quilts of Valor will be presenting Dick Glawe, Fred Nobile and Jeff Bruce with a beautiful quilt stitched with love, prayers and healing thoughts. These quilts will be a tangible token of
appreciation that says, “Thank you for your service, sacrifice and valor.”
Just how much of an impact has the Quilts of Valor Foundation made? As of May, 2012 there have been over 65,000 quilts awarded to service members / veterans.

Weather permitting the presentation will take place outdoors, in front of Countryside’s patriotic quilt garden, “Spirit”. Five members of Prairie Ridge High School Band will start the presentation with our National Anthem;
the Honor Guards will salute these veterans and close the presentation with “Taps”.
Countryside Flower Shop, Nursery and Garden Center is located on Route 176, just ½ mile west of Route 31 in Crystal Lake.
