Nashville Backstage Series: A Country Cabaret at the Raue Center for the Arts

with Gary Burr, Georgia Middleman and Jim Photogolo
July 13 @ 8:00 pm | Tickets start at $24

Cabaret style series originally started in partnership with Blue Bird Cafe under the guidance of Michael Bush, and modeled after the Grand Ole Opry, featuring some of the hottest acts to come out of Tennessee today. The series kicks-off July 13 with Gary Burr, Georgia Middleman and Jim Photogolo.

Nashville Backstage features A-list songwriters representing the very best in America today. Maia Sharp (The Dixie Chicks, Bonnie Raitt, Edwin McCain, Cher), Jim Photoglo (Alabama, Kathy Mattea, Kenny Rogers) and Tony Haselden (George Strait, Keith Whitley, Shania Twain) and Craig Carothers (Peter, Paul and Mary; Trisha Yearwood, Kathy Mattea) These talented songwriters will share the stage for a special, one-night-only performance, giving an insider’s look at songwriting and the story behind the hits. Maia emphasizes that, “to a songwriter, there’s nothing better than having one of your songs recorded by a top artist, but to be the songwriter, getting a chance to perform these songs for a live audience the way they were written, is also very special.” Nashville Backstage offers a unique opportunity to look inside the minds of the songwriters, who have given so many artists the pulse of their music.
