Bach Concerto For Oboe, Violin in C Minor

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL —The public is invited to hear four renowned local musicians perform a J.S. Bach concerto for oboe and violin in C Minor. The concert takes place from 9:45 – 10 a.m. on Sunday, August 12 at the First Congregational Church of Crystal Lake (461 Pierson St.). Sunday worship follows at 10 a.m.

In addition to Shawna Lake playing the oboe and Tom Vos on the violin, Alexi Hagedorn, plays the cello and Emily Jan Morian plays the harpsichord. This quartet will provide a unique sound that any age will enjoy.

It’s rare that four talented musicians can come together to put Bach’s notes into motion in the McHenry County area.
