Children's Theater Company of Cary Presents Dr. Dolittle

Area students brings the classic script to life.

The Cary Park District’s will host two performances of “Dr. Dolittle” at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, at the Fox River Grove Middle School, 401 Orchard Street, Fox River Grove. 

The 1976 play is written by Olga Fricker, in which she is the sister-in-law of Hugh Lofting, the author and illustator of the first Dr. Dolittle story. 

There are 33 actors ranging from second to eighth grade that have been developing confidence, creativity and working on memorization and listening skills to be a part of the Children’s Theater Company of Cary.

The performance is being directed by Kelly Forney and Julie McDonough.

 

Tickets are on sale today at the for $3. Tickets are also  available at the door the day of the performance for $4. Children two years and younger are free.
