Chicago Fire TV Show Seeking Extras in Crystal Lake Area

Show is seeking extras in the Crystal Lake area.

It appears Hollywood is coming to the Crystal Lake area.

The Chicago Fire television drama, which airs on NBC, is seeking extras in the Crystal Lake area, the Northwest Herald reports. The show is casting for paid, non-speaking extras.

On the Chicago Fire Facebook page, the following notice is posted:

"Casting Alert! We are searching for people who live in the Crystal Lake area who can work our exciting accident scene - IF YOU HAVE ALREADY WORKED PLEASE DON'T SUBMIT.

This scene will take a few days to shoot. You will have a great time! I love shooting in that area! It takes me back to my "Groundhog Days", the movie, (yes, I'm like 90 years old. Ha!).

If you can free up your life for a few days and want to work as a paid extra ($80 for an 8 hour day and time-and-a-half after, please send in your photograph ASAP to extra.326@gmail.com.

Put "Accident" in the subject line. Include your height, weight, age, and phone number. Thanks!"
