ABC's 'Mind Games' Casting Call for Altar Boys, Bus Boys, Bank Tellers

An exciting new TV series shooting in Chicago is casting extras for specific roles for shooting in January.

Chicago is reemerging as the central hub for location shooting for TV, motion pictures and commercials.

The newest entry ABC-TV’s ‘Mind Games’ -- starring Christian Slater-- is casting some fun extra roles and is looking for “real” people of all ages and types.

‘Mind Games’ is the story of two brothers -- one a bipolar genius, the other a paroled conman -- that partner in a unique agency that attempts to solve clients’ problems using hard science and manipulation. The 20th Century Fox Television-produced series is set to premiere March 11.

Shooting for the next episode of ‘Mind Games’ takes place Jan. 6-Jan. 17. The director is searching for specific extra roles and wants to interview and personally choose each extra. including the following:

  • REAL ALTAR BOYS, ages 12 to 14, all ethnicities -- Must be available to attend an interview either Monday or Tuesday, Jan. 6 or Jan. 7. If chosen, you will need to work on Wednesday, Jan. 8.

  • REAL BUS BOYS, ages 18 to 30, all ethnicities -- Must be available for an interview either Monday or Tuesday, Jan. 6 or Jan. 7. If chosen, you will need to work on Thursday, Jan. 9.

  • DISTINGUISHED PROFESSOR TYPES, ages 40’s through 70’s, all ethnicities - You will need to attend an interview on either Monday or Tuesday, Jan. 6 or Jan. 7 and if chosen you will need to work on Monday, Jan. 13.

  • REAL BANK TELLERS, must be available for interview on Jan. 6 or Jan. 7, for shooting on Friday, Jan. 17.

  • HOMELESS MAN, you will need to attend an interview on Jan. 6 or Jan. 7, for shooting on Friday, Jan. 17.

  • If you fit the bill for any of these the roles, please send a photo dressed as the part and include your height, weight, age and phone number.

    Put in the subject line the role you are submitting for, for example, “Real Altar Boy.”

    According to the Chicago Fire Extras Facebook page, the casting company does not accept headshots, comp cards, pictures with sunglasses, or hats -- only recent current photographs will be accepted. Please do send links to view pictures.
