Enjoy some local food and tunes while watching fireworks this Fourth of July.

Crystal Lake’s Lakeside Festival Crystal Lake Park, Main Beach

The annual Crystal Lake Community Fireworks will be held on Sunday, July 3 at dusk over Crystal Lake itself upon the conclusion of the annual Lakeside Festival at Dole Mansion. You can view the fireworks at any of the town beaches with ease.

Many people choose Main Beach, with admission prices of $2 per person, maximum of $10 per family after 3 p.m. Parking at Main Beach is available in the paved lot and is free to residents or $5 for non-residents. The fireworks typically last for 30 to 40 minutes.

Cary Summer Celebration — Lions Park, 1200 Silver Lake Road

Cary Park District is holding the town's fireworks display on Friday, July 1. Admission to the fireworks and a performance by Final Say are free. The music begins at 7 p.m. with the fireworks starting at dusk.

There will be food and drinks available for purchase. Parking is available at the park both in the grass and on the pavement. Grass spots are $5 and pavement spots are $10 per car. Fireworks last approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Should the weather not cooperate, the display will be rescheduled for July 8.

Barrington — Barrington High School, Lake Cook and Hart road

On Sunday, July 3, Barrington is having its annual fireworks display. At dusk, the yearly fireworks display will continue for up to an hour. Viewing area will be in the Barrington High School lawn. Admission and parking for the fireworks are free.

In addition to the fireworks display, Barrington will also host its annual parade on Monday, July 4. Beginning at 10 a.m. the parade will feature cars, floats, bands, and treats for those in attendance.

Woodstock —  Emricson Park, off Route 14

Woodstock Chamber of Commerce is hosting the fireworks at Emricson Park beginning at 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 4. The fireworks last approximately 30 minutes and the park is usually very full. Those who wish to attend are welcome to scout out spots early in the day to ensure they have the best possible spots for the fireworks.

Admission to the park is free and parking is available both within the park itself as well as on the neighboring streets where signs indicate availability.

Hoffman Estates Fourth of July Festival — Village Hall Grounds, 1900 Hassell Road

From Thursday, June 30 to Monday, July 4, Hoffman Estates is hosting its annual Fourth of July Festival. The festival features carnivals, a parade, food vendors, music, and other cultural stops for everyone in the family. Tickets for rides, food, and drink will be available for purchase during the duration of the festival.

On Monday, July 4, the annual fireworks display will begin at 9:30 p.m. and last for approximately 30 minutes. Fireworks are free and parking is available for free at the ADP building as well as the Muir School.
