Weather this Week: Fog, Warmup, Rain, T-storms

Forecast for the week of April 29, 2013.

Springtime in Illinois delivers a little bit of everything when it comes to the weather.

This week in McHenry County is no exception: fog, high temperatures, rain, gusty winds and a chance for thunderstorms are forecast for the week ahead.

Some parts of Chicagoland will begin Monday with patchy fog - with areas of dense fog in communities closer to Lake Michigan. From there, prepare for a warmup, according to WeatherBug.

Monday's high temperature is expected to break the 70-degree mark. Partly cloudy skies will accompany the warmup, according to WeatherBug.

Temperatures will continue to climb Tuesday, with forecasts calling for a high of 80-degrees or higher with partly cloudy skies again.

Midway through the week, gusty winds could arrive along with a chance of rain and thundershowers.

High for Wednesday is expected to stay around 72 degrees, but temps likely will drop to a high of 57 by Thursday, and 54 degrees by Friday, according to WeatherBug.
