Warmer Temperatures Expected this Week

Just how warm will it get? Read on!

If you've been waiting for that spring warm-up to arrive, this is your week!

Temperatures will reach the high 40s by week's end, but we'll have to deal with a couple more days of chilly temperatures first.

There's a 40 percent chance of snow showers on Monday, according to the National Weather Service in Chicago, with a high temperature of 36.

Skies will be mostly cloudy on Tuesday, with a forecast high of 37.

The warm-up will begin on Wednesday, with a forecast high of 40 degrees and mostly sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service.

On Thursday, we'll see mostly sunny skies and a high of 45, and there's a forecast high of 47 on Friday.

We're set to round out the week with a high of 50 on Saturday, followed by a forecast high of 53 on Sunday. There's a chance of showers on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
