Overnight Snowfall Not Enough to Close Schools

Crystal Lake Schools remain open after over seven inches falls.

A Winter Weather Advisory is still in effect for the area after over 6 inches of snow fell overnight.

But the amount of snow wasn't enough to close local schools. While there's school closings all over Lake County, there has only been three schools to close Friday in McHenry County, none of which are located in Crystal Lake.
