UPDATE: Harley Has Been Found

Harley went missing on Sunday near Route 31 in downtown Algonquin.


UPDATE: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24

Harley has been located, according to Algonquin Police Sgt. Doug Lamz.

"Harley the dog has been located. He is safe and will soon be re-united with his owner," Lamz stated in an e-mail.

Harley, a one-year Rottweiler, went missing Sunday in downtown Algonquin.

A Patch reader asked us to share this photograph of one-year-old Harley.

Harley is a male Rottweiler who went missing near Harrison Street and Edward (near Route 31) in downtown Algonquin on Sunday.

He is a black and tan dog wearing a collar with tags. He is microchipped and neutered.
